ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Basic Digital Education Initiative is an experiential learning computer education and STEM initiative by Tech4Dev with the mission to train 500,000 public school students across Africa by 2030.
The goal of the project is to equip students in public schools with a comprehensive and cutting-edge digital education that empowers them for the evolving landscape of the future workforce. This entails providing them with a strong foundation in essential digital skillsets, ensuring they possess the requisite competencies to actively engage and thrive in an ever-accelerating digitized global environment.
The Basic Digital Education Initiative aligns with sustainable development goals 4 & 10 (Quality Education & Reduced Inequalities).

ILIMI KIT
To address the issue of limited internet access and broadband coverage in low-income communities, we developed the Ilimi Kit, a solar-powered, eco-friendly and sustainable technology kit, designed to offer a transformative learning experience to children.
